Resource Base

At Vale View Primary School, we have a Resource Base. The base provides support for children with an Education and Health Care Plan or Statement who require a combination of a mainstream experience with additional specialist provision. With a team of well-trained Resource Support Integration Assistants and a Resource Teacher, high expectations are maintained so that all children achieve at their own level. All Resource Children are valued members of a mainstream class, who achieve high levels of social and academic inclusion, through highly individualised planning, support of a wide range of outside agencies and the support of parents.
